What is the effect of sedation in a high or low endoscopic procedure?

Does colonoscopy or endoscopy require general anesthesia?
R. No. For the colonoscopy procedure, sedation is performed where you will be asleep with minimal sensations during the exam, without remembering it, which means that this is not a negative experience.
Can there be complications in my procedures?
